Backyard Burgers
1 1/2 lbs. ground
beef
1 small onion, finely
chopped (1/4 cup)
1/4 cup regular or
non-alcoholic beer
1 TBSP worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cloves garlic,
finely chopped
Mix all ingredients
and shape mixture into 6 patties. Grill patties uncovered about 4" from
med. heat 10-15 mins., turning once, til no longer
pink in center. (Don't be tempted to use a metal spatula to press down on
hamburger while it's cooking--it squeezes out much of the flavorful juices)
Top with cheese, if
desired.
These burgers were so
moist & juicy, and soooo easy!
